French Fries |
I have a confession! Despite eating some of the most delicious food in the world, even if it's a taste sensation, if you will, mouthwash, some time later in the near future I finally crave French fries! Correct! Simple old potatoes, potatoes, little tubers, little French fries, yes for some unknown reason, once in a while I just want to eat you! It's kind of weird, because I know that french fries aren't very 'good' for you, and I know that they're 100% 'cabby starchy not much nutritious', but I still love eating them!
So I decided to start my own french fries adventure because (a) I love fries, (b) if I could make sure I could have them EVERY time (c) fast food prices seemed to skyrocket like there's no tomorrow and (d) Who who doesn't like adventure? With my trusty potato in one hand, and the word french fries shining on the horizon, I set out, determined to cook fries worthy of a king (and queen)!
After hours of hard work in the kitchen (less than an hour actually, but I tend to 'overdo' it a bit when I'm in a storytelling mood), I made some of the most delicious French fries I've ever made. I've been eating all my life! After they were freshly cooked I literally sat there with my sister and ate them all! Correct! And you can do it too! It's so simple, I really can't believe I've never made it before. I must be living under a rock. Okay! Luckily the rock decided to move, because now I can clearly see that my fries are here.
